The year 2014 has ended and I think that it’s time to look at the anime release charts and see which anime will be worth checking out and is worth getting hyped about. These are some of the anime which we’re looking forward to watching the most.
Note: These anime titles are taken from Hummingbird’s anime database and could be changed at any point before they start airing. We’ll do our best to update the titles if necessary.
Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works TV 2nd Season
The first season was a spectacle and it concluded itself nicely along with the year of 2014. The final episode also made sure to leave us wanting more and to get us hyped up for the upcoming season.
Just like Unlimited Blade Works, this one left us wanting more…Much more. Telling us the start of the great (harem?) romance story and letting us guess who is the girl that gave our protagonist his key that opens the locket to her heart.
Kyoukai no Kanata Movies
Since we’re anticipating both, Kyoukai no Kanata: I’ll Be There – Kako-hen and Kyoukai no Kanata: I’ll Be There – Mirai-hen, we’ve decided to simply put them together under one item. One of the movies will retell the great story of the TV series and the other one will expand on the universe and tell us a story that happens one year after the happenings in the series.
Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru no Darou ka
This anime, which has a mouthful of a title, will tell us a (most likely) comedic romance story of
Clanel Vel Cranel Bell who falls in love with a powerful adventure girl and aspires to become a powerful adventurer himself in order to (once again, most likely) conquer her.
Urawa no Usagi-chan
We have to admit that we have a great weakness for cute girls and bunny rabbits. This original anime will show us the day-to-day life of cute girls and is aimed to promote Urawa City in Saitama. Hopefully, the anime will be as moe as Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? was.
Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku
A continuation of a rather different romantic story which certainly mostly focuses on character interactions rather than awkward smooching and side-glances from all romantically involved parties. Hopefully, it keeps it that way in the second season as well.
Hopefully, you can find an anime on this small list that piques your interest enough for you to at least check it out. What are your most anticipated anime for this year?
