After watching the first season of Tokyo Ghoul and enjoying it more than I probably should, I’ve decided to check out the second season. After finishing Tokyo Ghoul √A, I can now understand people who are saying that watching the anime is a waste of time that could be better spent reading the Tokyo Ghoul manga.
I came across R-15 while looking for ecchi anime to watch over at Crunchyroll. I decided to give it a go and after seeing the first few seconds I was intrigued enough to keep on watching. Sadly the anime is heavily censored on Crunchyroll, meaning that if you want to enjoy the full experience you will have to purchase a copy of the anime.
Several of my friends and acquaintances suggested that I should check out Tokyo Ghoul, because apparently it’s a masterpiece. I usually don’t give in to suggestions, because I tend not to like the same series as my friends do, but this time I gave in and started watching Tokyo Ghoul.
If you didn’t know already, I’ve been sick for quite a while. When I’m sick, I always lie in bed and marathon through anime series that I’ve already seen, either countless times (e.g. Death Note) or series that left an impression on me when I first seen them. No Game No Life definitely left an impression on me when I first watched it and I actually enjoyed it more the second time around.
I was casually browsing Reddit when I stumbled upon a reference to unknown anime called Rosario + Vampire. I don’t remember where it was or what the original content was about so I can’t link you to the actual comment. Anyway, as usually, I would quickly google it to get the title, log in to Hummingbird and check its summary. Monsters, vampires, that sounds cool, let me quickly check out a review on YouTube, I thought. I found a video where a boy describes this anime as shounen anime and it’s supposed to be funny, with character development and “well drawn girls”. Apparently “well drawn girls” meant something else than high quality animation. In the same YouTube video it was mentioned that there are epic fight scenes throughout the anime as well.
