A couple of months ago I bought PlayStation Vita and Akiba’s Trip was one of the first games I got myself for the system (one of the reasons why I haven’t been posting as much). Since the game revolves around the otaku culture and is in general what I would call an “anime game”, I thought that I’d give my thoughts on it now that I’ve finished it for the first time (4 more times to go in order to get all of the endings/trophies).
There are many eroge out there so it’s a bit hard for a newcomer to choose which to go with first, specially if he/she doesn’t speak Japanese to the point of where he/she would be able to pick up pretty much any eroge. List below has three of my favorite eroge that I think are a great start for anyone who’s interested in playing such games.
The title might be a bit confusing, since many visual novels have received anime adaptations and many more will receive them in the future. However, what I mean by it is that the girls mentioned in this article are from visual novels that have yet to receive an anime adaptation. I’ve taken into the account their looks and their personality when they’re conversing with the protagonist.
There are thousands of visual novels for us to play, especially if you are able to read Japanese. Sadly not all of them are good and suitable for someone who is just starting to discover the great world of visual novels and most likely does not speak or read Japanese. I have decided to provide a list of five visual novels that should be an enjoyable read and hopefully get you craving for visual novels.
